Eddie Betts
FOUNDER
Former AFL player, founder of the Eddie Betts Foundation, and advocate for Aboriginal rights. He has a 17-year career with three All-Australian jackets and four Goal of the Year awards. His foundation supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth through sports, education, and personal development, reaching over 23 remote and regional communities. Eddie is also an award-winning author, speaker, producer, and media broadcaster.
Anna Scullie
CO-FOUNDER
Founder of Scullie Co, a female-led AFL player management consultancy. She co-founded the Eddie Betts Foundation and played a key role in the success of Eddie’s Lil’ Homies books and animated series. Anna has decades of experience in talent management, marketing, and AFL player representation. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion in sports and community development. She also has a background in public health and entrepreneurial ventures.
Neville Jetta
BOARD MEMBER
Former AFL player with the Melbourne Football Club (2009–2021) and current development coach at Collingwood Football Club. He is a leader in Aboriginal advocacy, youth development, and coaching, passionate about mentoring young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander athletes. Neville contributes to governance, youth engagement, and cultural advisory initiatives.
Tiana McCoy
BOARD MEMBER
Aboriginal Health Practitioner and Executive Manager at an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in Darwin, with over a decade of experience in health governance and strategic planning. Tiana has held key leadership positions, including Acting CEO, and is committed to improving healthcare services and workforce development for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. She advocates for policies and services that empower communities and create pathways for young people to succeed while preserving their cultural identity.
Ella Smith
BOARD MEMBER
A proud Kaalamaya Gubrun and Noongar woman from Kalgoorlie, Ella has extensive experience in youth justice, child protection, and Aboriginal community advocacy. She has held leadership roles in the Department of Justice and community organisations and is a director at Marlinyu Ghoorlie Aboriginal Corporation. Ella facilitates Domestic Violence literacy programs and brings valuable insight to the Eddie Betts Foundation board.
Jane Vadiveloo
BOARD MEMBER
Co-founder of Caraniche and Children’s Ground, with over 30 years of work with First Nations communities. She co-founded Akeyulerre, focusing on cultural and emotional wellbeing, and has been pivotal in systemic change for First Nations children. Jane’s contributions to justice and equality earned her recognition as one of the Westpac Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence in 2014.
Hannah Teague
BOARD MEMBER
Marketing and media leader with over 15 years of experience working with major organisations such as Coles, BP, and Coles Financial Services. Currently heading media and marketing effectiveness at BP, she leads paid media strategy across Australia and New Zealand. Hannah has a Master’s in Marketing and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and is passionate about building long-term, meaningful partnerships, particularly in support of the Eddie Betts Foundation.
